<p>As Director, Content Relations, for Dolby Laboratories, Andres Alvarez is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support the adoption of Dolby® technologies among studios, content creators, and others in the content community in the Americas.</p>
<p>Andres is passionate about the media and entertainment industry and has broad experience in digital media. He has played a key role in a wide variety of initiatives, including the launch of new digital video and music services, execution of innovative customer acquisition programs, and negotiation of major device/platform integration deals.</p>
<p>Prior to Dolby, Andres worked at Best Buy, where he led content acquisition for Best Buy’s CinemaNow® service and was responsible for negotiating licensing agreements with the studios. Andres began his career in digital media with Napster, the iconic digital music service, where he worked on the business development team and drove Napster’s device integration and subscriber acquisition eff orts. Before entering the digital media space, he practiced law at the firms of Latham &amp; Watkins LLP in New York and Mitchell Silberberg &amp; Knupp LLP in Los Angeles.</p>
<p>Andres received a BA degree in English from Florida State University and a JD from Columbia Law School.</p>

Jonathan is responsible for developing online channels in Dolby formats targeting cross-platform devices.</p>
<p>Joining Dolby Laboratories in 2007 after 8 successful years at Orange, Jonathan brought an expert understanding of the technical and user experience needs for developing leading products and services targeted at mobile devices. Initially coming to Dolby as Product Manager to create Dolby Media Generator before moving to the broader remit of enabling content channels in Dolby formats.</p>
<p>A long background in music and broadcast technology is the foundation for Jonathan’s career. At Orange, he created many award-winning multimedia technologies and products, bringing successes like Fireplayer (Winner: Digital Music Awards), Music Player (Voted best mobile application 2005), Video-on-Demand, Orange TV and other mobile content channels.</p>
<p>Formerly, Jonathan created Ananova – the world’s first virtual newscaster; managed interactive product development for Paul Allen (Interval Research), and at Sony Computer Entertainment developing Playstation games. Before that, he was director of R&amp;D at broadcast equipment company, Drawmer.</p>

<p>Jason Keane is CEO of Saffron Digital, the global leading, multi-DRM, online video platform for the digital entertainment industry. Since joining the company in August 2011, Saffron revenues have grown 110% on the back of new product launches for HTC Watch and KDDI Video Pass in Japan. In this time Jason has spearheaded the launch Saffron’s next generation online video platform, complete with Ultraviolet (UV) integration and a proprietary CFF DRM Secure Player.</p>
<p>Prior to Saffron Jason was the Vice President of Universal Networks Interactive, the digital arm of NBC Universal Networks International (UNI). At NBC he led the development of NBC UNI’s 360° digital media strategy by deploying a global web-video platform that powers interactive experiences for its five core channel brands online, namely, Syfy Universal, Diva Universal, Studio Universal, Universal Channel and 13th Street Universal.</p>
<p>Before NBC, Jason came from Yahoo! where he worked as Global Head of Product for Yahoo! Answers, its leading social 2.0 play with 135m unique visitors on a monthly basis and before this role he was the European Marketing Director for Yahoo! Communications, where he headed the strategic marketing and brand planning for their communications product portfolio.</p>
<p>Prior to Yahoo! Jason worked at MSN where he managed and grew the UK Hotmail business, taking the unit P&amp;L from $12m to $26m in advertising revenues in 2005 and launched the first international Live brand (Outlook Live).</p>

<p>Barry’s introduction into the home entertainment industry came as owner of the first mobile video rental franchise in Manchester, UK in 1991. He later joined TelMe.com, the first company to provide an online business information portal where the lessons learned about gathering product data, price and availability information from numerous sources, as information was collected, collated, standardised, indexed, updated and supplied, proved invaluable when Barry returned to the entertainment industry.</p>
