Dorinda Marticorena holds the position of Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing and New Technology, Warner Home Video and Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, the world’s largest home video company. She is responsible for all global product development and marketing strategies and campaigns for over 300 annual title releases, some in as many as 30 languages, including Harry Potter, Inception, The Dark Knight, Matrix, Friends, ER, Gossip Girl, and Looney Tunes. She oversees global market research, global interactive marketing (including online advertising and promotions), and global Blu-ray and 3D high definition business development. Recently, Dorinda also assumed responsibility of marketing efforts for Warner Bros. Digital Distribution International where she works with key platform partners such as Sony, Apple, and Microsoft to maximize revenue from Warner’s content. Dorinda and her team of 40 generate home video revenue streams from both theatrical and non-theatrical content, including film, TV and animation episodic, and made for video content.

Dorinda began her career with Warner Bros. in 2001, as a Marketing Director on the Domestic Kids Marketing business unit, rising to Vice President in 2005, and overseeing top kids’ entertainment brands such as Scooby-Doo, Tom and Jerry and Batman. In 2007, she was promoted to Senior Vice President, Worldwide High Definition, and oversaw the studio’s global high definition launch effort. Within the home entertainment industry she has been recognized in Home Media Magazine’s coveted “Women in Home Entertainment” list for the past three years and is a two-time Video Business “Women Elite” recipient. She was the only executive to represent Warner Bros. in the Leadership California Class of 2010. Leadership California is a non-profit women’s leadership program dedicated to advancing the skills and contributions made by top California-based women executives in the areas of business and public policy. Additionally, Dorinda currently serves as the Executive Sponsor for “Women of Warner,” a studio-wide business resource dedicated to fostering professional development of all women at Warner Bros. regardless of level, department or function.

Prior to Warner Bros., Dorinda worked for Stanford University Undergraduate Admissions where she had the heart-warming and heart-breaking task of making admissions recommendations for highly talented freshman class candidates. She also held marketing positions at Nestlé and General Mills, where she had responsibility for leading food brands including Butterfinger, Nestle Crunch and Betty Crocker. In recognition of her contributions to their corporate recruitment efforts, Nestle endowed a UCLA undergraduate business scholarship for minority students on her behalf – The Dorinda Marticorena Women of Courage Scholarship.

Dorinda received her Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, a Master of Public Health from UCLA, and a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson School at UCLA. She was named a Stanford Associate in 2010, the “honor roll” for Stanford University alumni who have demonstrated exemplary life-long service and volunteerism to advancing the mission of the University. She currently serves on the board of the San Gabriel Valley arm of the Stanford Alumni Association. Beyond service to her alma mater, Dorinda is a Board of Director for Inner City Arts, a non-profit that provides art education to children living in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles. She is also a volunteer for Foothill Family Services, a group supporting psychological, scholastic and work-skill services for at-risk young families in the San Gabriel Valley.

Dorinda was raised in Monterey Park, CA and currently resides in Pasadena with her husband Steve and two sons Cole and Cameron.
